The NOC monitors all performance aspects of channel transmissions, both visually and through a sophisticated automatic control system. Our wall of monitors enables ASTRA's engineers to keep a watch on the video signals of each of the 46 analogue transponders in addition to a number of automatic systems that constantly check the parameters and measure the quality of all analogue signals...

ASTRA has increased its reach at both principal DTH positions:
- 38.4 million homes now receive programming from 19.2°E, an increase of 1.3 million homes.
- At 28.2°E, 8.8 million homes are receiving services from ASTRA, representing an increase of 0.9 million homes.
- Almost three out of four DTH/SMATV homes within the ASTRA footprint receive TV & radio services via ASTRA. This includes 18 million homes which regularly listen to radio via the ASTRA satellites.
