Annual General meeting approves year 2001 accounts and elects new board of directors
SES GLOBAL PREPARING FOR A POSSIBLE EQUITY OFFERING AND NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE LISTING
At their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 6th, 2002 in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, shareholders of SES GLOBAL S.A. (Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: SDSL) approved the Company's year 2001 accounts and the proposed dividend of €0.24 per A-Share, which will be paid to shareholders and holders of SES GLOBAL FDRs on May 27th, 2002.
The shareholders also elected a new Board of Directors for SES GLOBAL S.A. whose members are:

The Board of Directors held a meeting following the AGM at which Mr. René Steichen was appointed Chairman of the Board with Messrs. John F. Connelly, Gerd Tenzer, and Jean-Paul Zens being appointed Vice-Chairmen.
The Board of Directors of SES GLOBAL also decided to proceed with the preparations for a possible international public equity offering combined with a listing on the New York Stock Exchange, in addition to the Luxembourg and Frankfurt listings.
