SES GLOBAL appoints Board of Directors and Management Committee for SES ASTRA

SES GLOBAL (Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: SDSL), the world's premier satellite operator whose business interests include fully owned SES ASTRA in Europe, SES AMERICOM in the United States, and strategic investments in regional satellite operators in Asia, Europe and Latin America, has appointed the Board of Directors of SES ASTRA.

The Board of Directors of SES ASTRA is chaired by Romain Bausch, President and CEO of SES GLOBAL. Members of the Board are:

The SES ASTRA Board of Directors has appointed the Management Committee of the company headed by Ferdinand Kayser, President and CEO. Members of the SES ASTRA Management Committee are: Martin Halliwell, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Padraig McCarthy, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing will be appointed. In the interim, Ferdinand Kayser takes on additional responsibility as SVP Sales and Marketing.
