ASTRA2Connect provides a complete satellite infrastructure to homes and small businesses. The service model is based on permanently available, high speed internet connectivity and low cost subscriber equipment. ASTRA2Connect also supports Voice over IP (VoIP) and content-on-demand/IPTV services.

Easy to install

The ASTRA2Connect end-user terminal consists of a satellite antenna (typically 75-80 cm), a receive and transmit LNB (interactive LNB="iLNB") and a satellite modem connected with Ethernet cable to the end-user PC or router.

The Point & Play feature makes it easier for the end-user to locate both the correct satellite and the optimal reception point. This ensures more accurate initial installations and reduces complexity for home installers. With Point & Play, the user is steadily guided towards the best possible signal on the correct satellite.

Scalable coverage

The technology that delivers ASTRA2Connect at 23.5° East is compatible with that of the entire ASTRA satellite fleet. We can therefore extend the service’s geographical footprint based on market demand.

While subscriber access is unlimited, we have established safeguards to protect the integrity of the service and the interests of all subscribers (Fair Usage Policy).
