ASTRA2Connect is a full service that includes satellite capacity, uplink (including operations), platform (facilities and operations), internet backbone, 2nd level helpdesk and the interface for end-user registration, activation and monitoring.

Subscriber equipment
- Satellite dish (typically 75-80 cm with receive/transmit i-LNB)

- Maximum download speed 2 Mbit/s (Ku-Band 10.70GHz to 12.75 GHz)
- Maximum upload speed 128 kbit/s (Ku-Band 14.00GHz to 14.50 GHz)
- Performance optimisation through Fair Usage Policy
- Performance enhancing proxy (RFC 3135)
- TCP enhancement for satellite transmission (i.e. acceleration and HTTP pre-fetching at server and subscriber end)
- Two-way satellite link encryption

Internet telephony
- VoIP traffic delivered from the ASTRA hub to your VoIP platform (termination fee to PSTN network not included)
- Flat rate VoIP telephony charging requirements: QoS management for VoIP packets, G.723 and G729A codecs, call admission control and silent suppression
