Equipped for broadband and TV

The set-up equipment for ASTRA2Connect is inexpensive and doesn’t require a terrestrial telephone line. Customers can use the same dish for internet access and satellite TV / radio reception.

The standard equipment consists of a single feed iLNB for internet and TV / radio services from one orbital slot. But with a multifeed clamp, the dish can be quickly equipped with another LNB for simultaneous TV / radio reception from a second orbital position (19.2° or 28.2°E). With the specially designed Quad LNB a 14 GHz filter assures quality reception.

Do-it-yourself installation

Using the ASTRA2Connect Point & Play tool, the user is steadily guided towards the best possible signal on the correct satellite.

The audio feedback makes it easy to locate both the correct satellite and the optimal reception point. This ensures more accurate initial installations and reduces complexity for home installers. The satellite modem is easily configured by the customer and remotely monitored by ASTRA.
