Satellite Lynx Inks New Deals, Finds Niche Aboard SES AMERICOM

Full FM radio services provider taps national distribution capabilities of AMC-1 satellite

PRINCETON, NJ – September 21, 2005 – SES AMERICOM, an SES GLOBAL company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg stock exchanges: SESG), today announced Satellite Lynx has expanded its presence aboard the AMC-1 satellite, adding its eleventh radio network of the year to a growing customer base of more than 30 local, regional and national Christian and specialized radio networks serving more than 45 million radio listeners nationwide.

The Light Praise Radio network in Colorado is the latest to sign on with Satellite Lynx, which has built its satellite delivered radio services business on the secure and reliable SES AMERICOM radio distribution platform aboard AMC-1. The spacecraft is home to a neighborhood of leading religious broadcasters. Satellite Lynx delivers “transmitter ready” programming to FM radio stations throughout America. Customers include religious and Christian radio startups as well as major commercial FM radio formats serving markets large and small.

“Program distribution is one of the most critical services Satellite Lynx provides to its 30-plus networks across America. SES AMERICOM may not be a household name among traditional radio listeners, but it’s the best name in the business and the only name we call when it comes to the reliable distribution of our customers’ programming,” said John Katonah, vice president of Satellite Lynx and a customer of SES AMERICOM for nearly a decade. “Our customers can’t afford any interruptions in programming distribution. SES AMERICOM’s reliable satellite fleet and support team is second to none.”

“Satellite Lynx and its growing roster of network affiliates are proof positive of the Herculean role radio plays every day of the year across America. Affiliates in Arizona, for example, are providing reading for the blind services throughout the state,” said Carl Capista, vice president of North American media solutions for SES AMERICOM. “Local, regional and national programming is being delivered to mainstream audiences as well as listeners in Christian, agricultural, and Spanish-speaking communities across the U.S. As Satellite Lynx continues to grow, SES AMERICOM will be there to ensure its radio networks have the reach and reliability they need to serve audiences whenever and wherever they tune in.”
