SES LAUNCHES ASTRA-VISION Around the clock services and information on the ASTRA digital line-up
Sociéte Européenne des Satellites (SES) announces the launch of ASTRA-Vision, an audiovisual service promoting digital TV, radio and multimedia services transmitted via the ASTRA Satellite System. ASTRA-Vision comprises complementary information channels available free-to-air all over Europe and features live feeds from different services:
ASTRA-Vision features video information on satellite TV in general and on digital satellite TV in particular, plus the best ways of receiving it. The service is broadcast in seven languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.
ASTRA-Info 1 outlines the broad choice of free-to-air digital services on ASTRA. It currently comprises more than 60 public, as well as private, TV and radio services.
ASTRA-Info 2 features information on the attractive digital bouquets on ASTRA, notably Canal Satellite Numérique in France, Canal Satélite Digital in Spain, DF1 in Germany and Canal + in the Netherlands.
ASTRA-Vision is broadcast on Transponder 108 (12.556 GHz, V-polarisation) and will be updated on a regular basis.
