SES APPOINTS SECRETARY GENERAL

Société Européenne des Satellites (SES) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Roland Jaeger to the position of Secretary General. In this position, Roland Jaeger reports to Mr. Romain Bausch, Director General and Chairman of the Management Committee of SES.

Roland Jaeger joined SES in 1995 in the position of Manager, Corporate & Legal Affairs. Following his promotion to the position of Secretary General of SES, Mr. Jaeger will continue to manage the Company’s Corporate and Legal Affairs group and serve as secretary to the Board of Directors as well as the SES Management Committee.

Prior to joining the Company, Roland Jaeger held the position of Legal Counsellor to the Directorate General of CLT between 1986 and 1995, and of Legal Counsellor to the Directorate General of Luxembourg’s telecommunications operator P&T between 1980 and 1986. Mr. Jaeger, a Luxembourg national, holds a degree in law and a PhD in Political Sciences from the Université de Paris I, Panthéon Sorbonne. Mr. Jaeger, aged 45, is married and the father of three children.
